Hidden In The Crevices Of Time

There are times when certain events in life stay imprinted in the sub-conscious mind, only to surface when you least expect it.

There are times when past incidences create an altogether new awakening, other than what you believe it to be.

This is the story of Stacy, who is suddenly besieged by flashbacks of an accident she was involved in as a two-month old baby.
She sees dark images, and gory scenes of the accident, which infuses fear and confusion in her mind. As a result, she experiences blackouts.

She seeks the aid of her neighbor, a retired nurse, to get out of her frightening situation.
However, they soon discover that there is a disturbing reason behind those flashbacks.

It relates to a past hidden in the crevices of time.

The Rainbow Of My Past

Free Rainbow Wallpapers - Wallpaper Cave

It could have included you, this rainbow from my past,

It trailed the skies in seven hues,

It presented itself as an illustrious sign of novelty.

.

As it trailed to the other end of the universe,

Where distance was the only thing that separated us,

I stood in awe at its incredulous beauty,

A tinge of its rays falling softly upon me.

.

I looked as far as my eyes could see,

Would it perhaps be the sign that leads me to where paradise is?

I so want to see if it belonged to another world,

I so want to be part of its fabled conception.

I sat by the Sea that day,

Wondering about the rainbow that set my heart aflame,

I could have been the seraph with a message that said,

“It could have been you on that rainbow with me.”
