Of burning desires and glittering performance,

Of trailing visions and whispering wishes.

Mon Dieu, why do the stars fill up the sky this night,

Not one has trailed in its luster and shine,

Shining bright and cowering the dark,

Dressing the skies by hemming its neckline.

The little girl looked up in wonder,

O would that the stars shine upon me just once,

For I so want to radiate its light,

The world of dark stumbles I want so to ignite,

And breathe upon its dusted surface a glorious sight.
