The past week, I walked around some of the malls close to home just to have a look at the Chinese New Year decorations this year. It is always lovely to be amongst so much pomp and grandeur. I went before the shops at the malls opened, quite early in the morning. Except for the cleaners and some of the breakfast outlets which were open, I had the mall all to myself. What bliss!
Thought I would share some pictures with you. Last Friday I got a Cheong Sum (the Chinese traditional dress) for a CNY dinner.
Living in a multi-cultural country makes you savor every kind of cuisine, experience different cultural celebrations and even speak the different languages.

Ah, I used to stay near Da Men. Never went there before though, for some reason, lol. Thanks for this, Shobana!
