When You Start Something

Writing is as fulfilling as the watching the sun rise and brighten the dark skies. I woke up to crimson skies today. Gorgeous!

Just as it appears, and takes over darkness, perhaps one cloud at a time, writing needs awareness to create a lifetime of shine.

In spite of everything, doesn’t the sun always rise to light up the sky – someone said to me the other day. But it is always something that has kept me going – waking up to the Sun.

There will be days when the light will refuse to shine, those are the days you need to be the spark to begin a fire that magnifies light.

And so, I began my book blog on free and discounted books, Shobana’s Book Station. I loved creating, learning (though hard, due to my limited technical skills) – no easy task, and put my books out there. I have to add my books, one at a time, so you will see me posting them here as well until I have built a collection. I had over 6000 views the first day, but a technical glitch on the website got me down and I am sure didn’t create a good first impression for those who visited. Gosh!

Even so, I, who have never given up on my writing endeavors, kept finding ways to improve and learned even more:) lol. Let me tell you that it is frustrating when you cannot fix something fast. Sometimes you think you have thought of everything, then something happens and its back to the drawing board.

Have a great week my friends. Being a writer is the best job in the world.

  1. It’s all a part of the process, Shobana. Have to take things in one’s stride. Easier said than done. And more power to writers and their creative endeavors. It really is a lovely job. πŸ™‚
