Perhaps you can see one, perched on a wildflower,
On a bright summer day, somewhere over the rainbow,
When the skies above are cleared of mist,
The Sun sears,
The winds blow,
Where lilies dance somewhere in the shade.
~
Would you fly like the butterfly someday,
With soft, gentle wings, caressing the flowers, drinking of the nectar,
Found within?
Forgetting the harsh surroundings,
Showing how beauty resides in harmony with the frail.
~
I once watched a yellow butterfly flit its wings, savor in delight,
and I watched it take its flight to another place where the Sun never fades.

I read it subsequent to today’s post. It should be other way round.
